my dad got a root canal with no novacaine. hes a hard ass.

No freezing or anything? Wow, that's tough, like, titanium tough.

I got $1400 worth of dental work done to me last year. I had fillings, and 2 wisdom teeth. I had a filling of about 60% of my very back molar, and at the same appointment, I got a wisdom tooth removed. The 2 teeth were side by side, and the pain was unreal.

I had the freezing done with the needle. It isn't that bad, just a small pinch, unless you get it on the back of your front or bottom teeth, than that is whoa! I had a "slight" pinch done at the back of my front teeth, and I was clenching my eyes so hard they were pouring water. It hurt like a mother!

Mouth pain is by far the worst pain of all. You can't talk, eat, or even breathe. I hate it!

All in all, I have learned to take care of my teeth. My folks always said it hurts when you don't, yeah, whatever dad! but they were right. It's the worst shit ever.

yea so, i ended up telling them no novacane and they just worked in my mouth zero pain killers, it hurt like a bitch but whatever, I didn't even get to smoke cause I ended up not being able to on the way there.

thats crazy lol... every time i go for dental work... I tell them to give me as much shit as they can for the pain right when I walk in and say hello to the dentist lol

man ive had biiiig molars pulled and i couldnt do that without the aid of some sort of anesthetic. i definately need novacaine in those situations.

i prefer the pain of the slight pinch over the pain of my socket breaking over a giant tooth being yanked out. even with novacaine i could feel pain. i fainted it was so bad.
