2 x 250 watt HPS has more lumens than a 400 watt HPS, so i disagree with the above comment....

2 x 250 watt HPS lights will easily handle an area of 16 sq. feet - or 4 feet wide by 4 feet deep.

That equals enough light for 9-12 plants in 5-gallon buckets
