Just get a scale. That's the only way to know you're getting ripped off.

As for getting the same stuff as last time, there is a good chance that dealer won't have the exact same weed.

So I'd just buy a scale, weigh it, and if you're getting ripped, go to someone else.

I've been introduced to a few dealers, i usually give them £20 and they give me what i believe is an 8th. Recently, i rang my dealer and it was late at night and he went to some house to get his "personal" as he had ran out of stuff to sell...
