Wow...you know one of my docs (I haven't seen the neurosurgeon yet) seems to think I might have had this thing for many years. I have been a huge pothead for 15 years. So far, they're telling me it is small. I guess I'm pretty lucky nothing has happened up until now. I am going to the neurosurgeon in a week and I am going to ask him. I'll let you guys know what he says. The funny thing is, I had no aneurysm symptoms and got the MRI because of some weird tingling that is probably unrelated. I heard lots of people have them and don't even know it...I guess I'm lucky, although right now I don't feel like it Hopefully he will give me the go ahead to at least eat some weed.

But...is it safe to even ask a US (University of Virginia) doc if weed is OK? Will I get in trouble?
TokinChick Reviewed by TokinChick on . Sad day. Diagnosed with aneurysm. Think I have to give up weed. Hello everyone. I am so sad and scared today. I got an MRI for weird tingling symptoms (I'm kind of a hypochondriac and figured that was what they would tell me) well, lo and behold it showed I have a small 2mm aneurysm in the left middle cerebral artery. Since the diagnosis, I have been a total wreck. The doc sent me home and I don't even get to consult with a neurosurgeon until March 16th. Apparently no one but me is concerned this thing is going to rupture anytime soon. This Rating: 5
