So sorry about your news, Tokin. I think Granny gives good advice. She's exactly right that that aneurysm hasn't appeared overnight. It's been there a while, probably all your life. And if it were likely to be life-threatening, they'd have you in the hospital now, sedated.

I've had neurosurgery to fix a venous malformation. It's a lot easier than you might think, actually. Once it's over, you can join the club by saying, "I swear, I'd rather have brain surgery than do ________," and you'll know exactly what you're talking about!
birdgirl73 Reviewed by birdgirl73 on . Sad day. Diagnosed with aneurysm. Think I have to give up weed. Hello everyone. I am so sad and scared today. I got an MRI for weird tingling symptoms (I'm kind of a hypochondriac and figured that was what they would tell me) well, lo and behold it showed I have a small 2mm aneurysm in the left middle cerebral artery. Since the diagnosis, I have been a total wreck. The doc sent me home and I don't even get to consult with a neurosurgeon until March 16th. Apparently no one but me is concerned this thing is going to rupture anytime soon. This Rating: 5
