Interesting artical from MEMRI
I definently agree with you on this subject. Respect for your host country should be paramount. We in the US have a similar problem with the southern Illegals. They preach their culture and expect us to respect them and their status while being guests of the USA, even the fact that they are here illegally does not humble them. I've was told by one worker when I was driving a concrete truck and we got into an arguement, that this was northern Mexico and his people were going to take it back, and I should start learning Spanish. I scoffed at this at the time (about ten years ago), but he was right. If you go into a Home Depot, the signs on the aisles are in english and spanish. I'm waiting for them to remove the english. Since we had this arguement (Ten years) 400,000+ illegals have moved into town, In my neighborhood, 3 out of 4 homes that sell are bought by Latinos. He was right, I'm going to have to learn spanish. Saturday nights in the Barrio are getting wild, No gang shootings yet, no gang graffitti yet, but time marches on.
