Talking about death.......today in class I wrote my obituary
talk about feeling weird. I said that I died at the age of 95 in a fatal skydiving accident with my husband. Our parachutes failed to open. At least I died doing something I always wanted to do! Our prof. even asked some to share I did. I think I want to die with zest if you can? not in some bed all cripled

We all have feelings like what you're talking about from time to time, it's normal. But it's our nature to wonder. Do you concentrate on each breath and heartbeat? No, somehow it takes care of itself. Don't worry.

I know it's paradoxical, but think on this for a minute. If you didn't exist, but somehow could wish for it, your very existance would be the most precious thing you could imagine. The ability to see, hear, touch, get stoned, think about things, etc., I think you get whay I mean. And you already have it. In a manned of speaking, you've already conquered death, and don't need to concern yourself about it. You're free to enjoy the life you have.

In the place where you're at, or at least when you wrote the post, is one of those moments in life when some Jim Jones can come along and sucker punch you, get you to accept their narrow view of how things work, all for the promise of salvation. Don't do it. You'll never find truth anywhere but within yourself. Not that any "religion" is wrong or right, in the most basic sense, but in my opinion trying to find God when you're at a disadvantage is like that old song "The Girls All Look Prettier at Closing Time". Wait 'till morning when your head is clear. Look at a sunset or something, and realize you're standing in the middle of the most miraculous thing going; the ability to percieve and question.

By the way, you'll probably live a whole hell of a lot longer than you expect.

I, too, believe that we live in the most wonderous place in the known universe...it's just a pity that not everyone see that
Some people need guidance...they might look for that in religion...I look for it within my self. Not always clear to see, but I live and die by my decisions, rather than being told how to live my life.

Even now, with christmas fast approaching, I don't know how the hell I'm gonna make it into the new year - money problems. The kids won't be getting anything this year, and that makes me feel sad as fuck - but, I am grateful for so many things, too...I have my kids, and although they might be upset at not getting anything, I hope I can show them that it is not always about those material things.
Sure, their mother will most likely have something to say about it, but hey..she's a queen bitch, and money and possession is all she cares about...go figure

Something will happen, I am sure...and I also believe that this is just another test designed to show me who I am.

I hate these fucking tests lol
But, there are people in this world who would be grateful to have a decent meal on their table...who would be happy to have their family around them...who don't have to wake up to another day of violence and death.....I count my blessings

You don't need religion to have meaning in your life. I am a very self motivated, life loving person and I have been an Atheist since 9th grade. Have a look at Secular Humanism. Also if you are into science read about Transhumanism.

Take a step bk, look inside and find yourself. You will learn a lot of things and discover that your life is worth making t most of. If u live each day too die it will cause nothing but damage, instead hold ur head up high and believe u can make t most of who u are. If u have faith in yourself u will have faith in life.

christianity is not the "only way to go" for a start. and there is no scientific proof that god exists infact its quite the opposite.
