lol I made that thread and called it 'why you should drive slowly'... so then someone else made another... and you merged them... cool... but I've got the credit for starting the thread, but you changed the title and added a misspelling... come ON peeples, I have a reputation to uphold here!!!!!! At least correct the spelling for me, willya?

See if that helps, Stinky. I'm the same way with spelling, too. (Sixth grade city champion!) That "typo" was original to Mowie's post, which was them merged and came over that way. I confess to fixing spelling in thread titles fairly frequently. I feel like the board has a reputation to uphold!

Oh, dear. But I think I am. I had a typo in my thread! ("them" instead of "then"). Oh well, I had good intentions. Glad to help, even if I shot my own spelling in the foot in the process.

haha I think that's funny you go around fixing spelling mistakes BG, I would totally do the same thing! I'm the spelling master! Maybe we could have a cann.com spelling bee....jk...like you said we have a reputation to uphold...

as a sidenote, I wanted to comment on that new moderation thread that swirlymass started today. I was oblivious to stuff like people being banned, and then changing their names and coming back on again. That must be pretty hard to monitor...you mods have a harder job than I thought! I also think it's kinda sad that those s***-disturbers are so desperate to be on these boards...

No, we can't edit posts. Just thread titles on occasion. Sometimes they have to be fixed because they contain blatant hookup requests, insults or profanity, and titles are usually the first things anyone new to the forum reads, so they're more visible and potentially first-impression damaging. When a problem's very severe, we usually take a thread down entirely. But again, no, we can't edit posts.
