Ph levels are different for hydro and soil, i usualy have mine around (6.3-6.5) for hydro and a higher alkaline for soil (6.7- 7.1) Usually if you are getting yellowing of the leaves and are using a high nitrogen mix duing veg growth , you will have nutrient lock out from improper PH levels casueing the plant to lock out certain nutriants, only way to fix this is to make a heap of flush water with correct ph levels and no nutrients and flush ur pots
greenman:D Reviewed by greenman:D on . Ph question? This is gonna sound like a rookie question but i am kinda new so...... i got some pH up and down and im planning on using it for soil. Now to bring the pH of the soil up would i simply pH some water to like 9 then water normally til it stabilizes? And would it be the opposite for bringing it down? My girls big fan leaves went from green to yellow in like 2 days and it was after i feed so im gonna check the soil tonight to see what i need to do with it so any help would be great thanks again.
