And where do they show the reconstruction of schools, hospitals, the Iraqi soldiers numbers being trained. And what about the body count of dead insurgents and terrorists since you want to SEE body bags instead of hearing of counts. We all know how many of our soldiers gave their lives.....how about the assholes they took out? They seem to like to show disgruntled soldiers also......what about the ones that are proud of what their doing over there? Oh ya, about 10 min. a week on Fox........

Uhhhh, disgrunteled soldiers, you mean the ones that have done three to five combat tours in 4 years because the leaders didn't plan for an insurgency and continue to send them back into the combat areas time after time. At least in Viet Nam, if you made it through your thirteen month tour, you were able to get out and stay out. This "War" is the most mismanaged in the history of the country and needs to stop now. Let the sunnis and shias sort it out.

Oh please...enough with this ridicolous "liberal" and "conservative" media cover up. All mainstream media is controlled by big instuitions who work with the government to suppress the people. There is a reason they don't cover the North American Union, Real ID Act, or how the Federal Reserve is a private central bank. They talk about all fluff, and all their information from the middle east they get from the Pentagon.

you should look into "democracy now" and inn report as a news source. watch it with your wife and tell her this is what real news looks like. i have dish network, and they play it on free speech tv. i know it's on Link Tv (channel) for directTV service...
the reason i say this is because john stewart has his role too. Stephen Colbert helped me realize this as well. Funny how intricate the propa war is.

I have cox cable, so all I get are cable news shows. I have to go to the internet to keep it straight. I peruse several sites on the net looking for differing views, including this one.

everything is a conspiracy. according to the left everything the exec does is shrouded by conspiracy, the right claims that their words and deeds are twisted by a conspiracy, even the moderates seem to feel that there is a conspiracy to polarize the political landscape. you can't pick up a rock without finding some fool beneath it screaming about a conspiracy. believing that there are conspirators lurking around every corner seems to be the paranoia du jour. believing that there are evil forces out to get them seems to make some folks feel important. maybe it's time we realized that the only conspiracy going on here is our own stupidity conspiring to make fools of us all.

as we waste our time pointing fingers and rooting out these nefarious cabals, the real business of government is getting swept into the corner. we waste millions uncovering the foolishness of this group or that and the whole time we ignore the simple fact that we allowed it all to happen by our own blind arrogance. instead of wasting our energies blaming our own faults on others, maybe we should be making sure that we don't make the same mistakes again. by blaming someone else we avoid taking responsibility and the responsibility rests squarely on the shoulders of those who allowed this government to become so unresponsive to the will of its citizens, the people themselves.

maybe it's too late to fix it, from all of the conflicting rhetoric i hear i'm inclined to believe that to be true. maybe it's time to tear it all down and rebuild from a more up-to-date model, nothing lasts forever.
