Both are going way downhill in my opinion, but back in the day, South Park was IT. I am not really a fan of all the social commentaries, but more so of the original storyline. Episodes like the 1st Mr. Hankey and Succubus just can't be beat. I do admit some of the newer ones are funny, but more often than not, it just doesn't generate enough laughs.

Family Guy, on the other hand, was also great back when it first came out. I remember watching it on TV before everyone and their mama bought the DVDs, and it was original and funny. The randomness is what made it funny. Then in the later seasons, they kept bringing back all the popular skits/characters, and it was too cheesy for me. I'm talking about the greased-up deaf guy, lol, to be exact. ~
