Yeah but family guy isn't exactly a political cartoon

who the hell cares about politics? if i'm watching tv i'm watching tv to enjoy myself, if it makes me laugh or entertains me that's all i need....

Both shows are amazing, but South Parks definitely my favorite.
Family Guy is awesome with how it's so damn random,
but if I had to pick it would be south park.

South Park always has a moral at the end, usually criticizing just about... everything.
Most the episodes have to do with current events e.g gay marriage, abortion...
anything controversial that people love hearing about.

Mormonism, Scientology, priests touching little boys, Tom Cruise, stem cell research, etc.

Family guy shows that too, just not to the way South Park does it IMO.

I do like South Park. Especially early episodes, much like the Simpsons.

However, more recently, they've been focusing much more on pop culture- that is, current events, marketing, current people, and after a while, it gets annoying. Kind of like they don't have much fresh material, so they extend on what's going on currently.

Family Guy has been known to "steal" things from other episodes of other stuff, but aside from that? It's funny in its OWN way.

Season 10 was pretty bad imo, especially the last episode. I'm looking forward to wednesday though. Gonna have a fatty blunt ready to go by 9:00.
