The reverend Ted Haggard, I was reading this past weekend, has had a miraculous transformation to heterosexuality after only three weeks of participation in one of those Christian counseling programs designed to turn gays straight. I was not convinced of his transformation, personally, but I think those programs--just as is the case with evangelical ministers--are full of malarkey.
