I am very sorry to hear that.

Let me tell you, though, that my Mom had to have open heart surgery, and this was just last Friday (3/2), and it went perfectly well. I was scared to death, and as I type this I am crying again, but she is fine now.

I know this won't help much, if at all, but I just wanted to add to the others who have shared good experiences with the surgery.

I will hold her and her doctors and your family in my prayers.
vileoxidation Reviewed by vileoxidation on . my nana has to have heart surgery hey all, im feeling really like shit right now bc i found out that my nan is gonna have to have open heart surgery in a couple of days. she has been in the hospital since friday and they performed something called a cardiac catherization or something like that. this didnt un clog the blockage so now they are gonna have to go in and fix it. shes fairly healthy overall besides high blood pressure and hasnt been in a hospital for health issues since 1959! she is 83 and means the world to me.
