online ps2 gaming problem..please help

ok like the title says i have a serious problem with getting online to play games such as socom 2 and combined assualt.I have dsl n its a really fast spped n when i try to connect it says i connect to the internet but then it says dnas error n wont authenticate dnas....i called sony n they said my internet connection is fine its something with my network....so i called my isp and they said i need a router so i went out n paid 134 bucks for a gaming router...it still says dnas error so that didnt work either so i was just wondering if anyone here knows how to fix this problem or anything at all...thanks in advance
