We had the child labor, we had the 25 cents an hour jobs, what did we do, we organized and went on strike, we fought the corporation bullies and the cops and we got unionized, we worked our system to get those jobs that the illegals have set back a hundred years. A carpenter now makes from 7.00 an hour to 10.00 an hour. when I was a carpenter 25 years ago it was 19.00 + benefits. the only benefit you get now is a job. The illegals that live 10 to a room and send their money back to Mexico and points south are only helping one sector of the American society, the wealthy. The middle class is sinking faster than the Titanic. Bingo Dippity and I don't agree on many things, but this is one. Go Home. Apply for a Visa and work the system. There are people all over the world waiting for a Visa, or work permit to come here, why should you be given a pass because you are a close neighbor, You're still from another country, just like Sri Lanka, Or India, and believe me, those people want to come here and work every bit as much as you Southerners.
