how many years is "a young age"? and as far as breaking the news to your parents, I finally told my dad a few months ago and I'm almost 40! (but then again my dad was a NYC cop when I was growing up so I sure as shit wasn't going to tell him then.) So as far as how to tell your parents... you're on your own.

i wouldent tell your parents unless your sure that they are cool wit it, becuase wut if they dont want you to? it will ruin your nice stoner life..lol

yeah man definitely don't tell you parents, i guarentee if their not cool as mine aren't, they'll wig out and ground you for your first half of senior year, fuck it sucked man. Oh well good luck and untill you move out your gonna have to avoid them or else they will never trust you again and they will hate you.
