bluebear, this one's for you...
I read threw both of them and not really any concise answers IMO and with the way that people throw the theory around you would think that there was much more info on it.
Well, I am off to do my own research, may take a while, but I will be back with something hopefully.
One thing to really consider is that when trying to breed with plants which are showing these kinds of traits you are subjecting your self to allot of work for one particular plant that may need to be carry on for many breedings to stabilize the plant in order for it to be as productive and healthy as many others you may already have. In the process of committing to this plant you may spend allot of time and energy that you could put in some other areas that may bring you much more gratification and productivity. I only say this to help you keep things in perspective, because I know that sometimes when we start on a question/project we can become tunnel vision and not consider the implications of the indever.
Yeh, soap box ramble, but I have chased enough rabbet trails to know when to rain in the horses and tak another trail.
