Look on your electric bill for the price per kw. there are a 1000w in a kw. So multiply a x b x c = Price per month

a= length of time lights are on, in hours
b= total combined watts, for all lights on ( if your total wattge is 400 then you multiply times .4)
c= price per kw hour

You also could then figure out the sales tax if any and I dont know about you but I also pay a delivery charge per kw hour. All this info will be on your bill.
socialistpete Reviewed by socialistpete on . Cost? If I use the 45w--150w coil lights, how much will it jack up my electric bill? Per light? Monthly? I am currently using 2, but have 6 more.. It's hard for me to determine how much they are adding to my bill because I have electric heat w/seperate thermostats for each room and the bill is always kinda high during the winter. Please let me know ASAP, so if not too expensive I can get my other lights into my growbox. Thanks alot.. Sorry if question is stupid. Y.I.C Rating: 5
