i havnt yet but i dunno if im gonna need to... everytime i ever pre order a game they have like hundreds...

Most games you don't but for certain ones you do, and this is one, I put my preorder down on the special edition just last payday. I also have one down on Halo 3.

yeah games like gta, halo 3, zelda, final fantasy (in america and japan) definatley need pre-orders

if it has a shitload of fans, you should probably pre-order... or expect to not get your hands on a copy... (i.e. don't be dissapointed/mad if you don't get one)

i havent pre-orderd but im prepared to que outside a store untill its released at midnight. because if you pre-oreder your not gonna get it untill a few days after the release.... thats what i did with san andreas.

wait a few days? How do you figure? I've preorder too many games to count and I've always shown up the day they are to be released (not shipped) and got it immediately. i don't wait for them to call me, i go down there to EB and get it.

Pre-ordering is awesome to do even if you don't need to, to ensure a copy mainly because not only do you get ensured a copy (it's great walking in to a busy eb with people being denyed the game walk up to the counter and claim the game everyones standing there wanting to get) but a good number of games offer pre-order special gifts My last gift was a couple months back, when I pre-ordered Halo 3 I was allowed to choose a poster, chose this 3D hard plastic poster of God of War II which now hangs in my room. I remember when they were promoting the Crackdown if you preordered it you were a shoe in for the Halo 3 beta.

Getting in a queue line is only a good choice if you miss the pre-order window. As it may be the only way you're going to get the game for weeks (remembers Wrestlemania 2000 shortage for 2 months)

okay i know i said that certain games definatley need pre-orders, but then thout back and relaised thats only if you get them at game shops.

The best game shops will sell out on the best games but while thye have sold out all hte supermarkets and all thta where people doen usually get games will have some in stock...

i know ill easily get a copy. since most people have got a 360 and ive got a ps3 there's gonna be more chance to get a copy.

and as for pre-ordering most stores here send the games in the post so it wont get to your house a few days later... trust me.

and last but not least .. stores will be ordering A LOT of copys since they'll make a shitload of money and also since its gta.
