Orange kush and the octupuss in 10 foot waves

Alrite so (when this story occured) the waves were up. They were at least 1.5 over. It was completely overcast, windy, little bit rainy but the waves were holding up. And they were pounding, I beleive it was like only 10-12 second intervals haha.

Anyways I have little over a gram I rolled into a fat little spliff. Orange kush from the clinics in L.A.

My friend never smokes, he does, but rarely. We spark it up power through that thing, I end up smoking about all of it but he's still REALLY baked.

We suit up, walk down, and I can barely get my leash on my ankle. Bad sign, but its the herb, not alchohol, I can maintain, or can I?


So I start paddling out and immediatly I am like "Holy Fuck".

Reall quick. let me explain something. If you could walk on water, waves 1.5 over head is still insanely scarey (even if your six feet tall), but when your laying on your stomach, its like looking up little over halfway on a two story house if your laying on the cement driveway (if you can picture that).

I finally make it out, cannot beleive I did it. I look back for my friend, he's still struggling.

All of a sudden I here "holy F***, the goddam octupusses, ahhh, holy shit"


I look back and see my friend paddling frantically in a circle like fashion like he's being attacked by a giant squid or something. I start cracking up, this could have been one of the funniest things I have ever seen.

I know I can see it better in my head than put it into words but I wish you coulda seen it. He looked like he was on acid in the ocean, 1.5 waves overhead, storming, raining, wind howling.

I turn back to face the outside still smiling to myself a bit (he paddled in and got washed ashore) only to see a wave I would say no more than 10 feet on the face cresting off in front of me.




So Iam like, "okay I am dead" I pattle frantically for it, of course, almost cliche it breaks in front of me and ABLITERATES ME. My leash even snapped off my board.

I felt like I was in one of the cages that simulates gravity or being drunk. Being spun around in all directions underwater by a 15 foot avalanche of white wash is an intense experience while rippped out of your gored.


I went in. Had it been some sativa I think I woulda survived. But that kush almost immobilized me out there.


I dono I hope you enjoyed. I know if you don't surf this might have confused you. But beleive me, it was a memory I will keep for a while.
