when they say it accepts metal hallide and hps that means its a convertable ballast which it can accept "EITHER" one bulb or the other in order to run 2 bulbs at the same time at least the only way i see it is that the ballast would have to be double the wattage of each bulb. but any ways to answer your question it only accepts one bulb at a time. Also my friend has a digital ballast and it is near silent.

I'm building my cabinet this weedend, my dimenions are 43in. wide, 29" deep and 68" tall.. I'm shopping around for a light right now and cosidering a digital ballast for stealth ( these are quieter, right?) and for functionality , when they say they accept both MH and hps , can I run at the same time? Is a cool tube possible on a double bulb contraption? I'm guessing it would get to hot in there anyways just kida Rating: 5
