This is such an interesting thread, to wonder whether, because of the anonymous nature of the internet, one constructs a persona or opens to authenticity!

I can be more open in some ways- to express deeper feelings that the "everydayness" of the real world seems to prohibit. This community provides comfort and connection that the real world often lacks, at least for me.
I must also be more careful too, for obvious reasons, so that distance always exists between us. Sometimes we can meet (hi stinky!!!) but mostly we won't, and that is both sad and reassuring....I respect some people here so much that to call them anything less than real friends would be untrue:lovestruck:
So this is mostly me, "I yam what I yam" though I haven't had the nerve to post any poetry yet. But that reticence is me too I guess!
