Bubble Buckets (making transition from soil growing)
Keep your water temps BELOW 70 in a bubble bucket, 65-68 being optimal(Any thing above 70 and your asking for problems, PYTHIUM!!). Keep your PH at 5.8. These two factors will avoid many problems in the future. Also keep the buckets clean. Use a strong H202 solution to clean everything inbetween rez changes.Buckets, air stones, tubing etc. Cold temps, cleanliness and PH are going to be the backbone of your grow. Get those right and you will avoid many problems. Heres a really good recipe link for a bubblebucket with your standard three part (Grow Micro Bloom) either by Advanced Nutrients or General Hydroponics, Calmag +, and liquid Karma. Its pretty straight forward. Let me know if you have any questions.

PS for water temps, A Coolworks chiller is a great and fairly inexpensive route. Easy bulkhead installation. I have mine installed under my bucket because the bulkhead is hard to fit on the curved bucket walls. You just have to prop up the bucket with bricks or whatever.
