Anyone else hate n00bs that don't hold their smoke?

I watch one of my lady friends take a huge hit and just keeping her mouth open, not even inhaling the smoke and I was nice enough to let them smoke the last amount of weed I had with me, like 2 bowls worth and shes wasting it lol I was mad but didn't say anything

If holding smoke in kills brain cells, I wouldn't be capable of typing this right now.

Before recent revelations about the lack of benefits to holding smoke in for long periods, most people held it in for long periods. Coughing wasn't considered "cool" - so we would take long hits and inhale little bits of air while holding the hits in, usually for 15 - 30 seconds. It's probably far less dangerous than living in an area with bad air quality.

I can really say that you are the stupidest mofo ever if you are steadfast about your beliefs about holding hits.

First off, as everyone here has pointed out, it does NOT get you higher (5% - 10% hah thats laughable) second of all smoke doesn't enter the lungs all at once, unless you're doing a gravity bong or a bong or something similar.

So you're already getting more tar than you need by holding it at all, because usually people take at least 2-3 seconds to hit the pipe but the smoke is transfered to the lungs as soon as they start to hit it; the smoke pulled from the start of their hit has already been cleared of THC before they are even done hitting the pipe.

I still hold for a fast 123 count after finishing a hit.

One summer I was smoking at home and in order for my dad not to catch me i would clear my hits and then blow them into my computer intake fan. It worked fine but after that summer my lungs ability to filter oxygen and even hold smoke decrease INCREDIBLY. It really sucks, I wish I wouldn't have done it now.

I get really bad chest pains and cough up all kinds of shit that would make the blob look like a tuesday night special.

I don't care how other people toke weed. As long as I'm getting stoned, they could do bong hits from their asshole for all I care. Then I'd need my own bong.

If people are annoying when high, I simply don't associate with them and ignore them. It has worked so far.

that depends on how much you smoke, if you're a 'few times a week' smoker than maybe. even if you're a 'one joint a day' kind of person i think this statement is invalid.

im def not a noob and if i was to smoke again thats how id do it..

in the recent past id do that because although i believe you get higher from holding it in, exhaling quickly like a cig will result in a more subtle buzz so you can take more hits..

compare: small toke from a joint you exhale quickly to
huge plume rip from a bong you hold in till the exhaled smoke is thin..

Are we talking about not inhaling? I've seen that happen a few times. They fill thier mouth with smoke and barely let it into the lungs. IF this is happening, then screw the nooB. He's wasting your stash.

Ohhh okay, yes no inhaling is a much different story.

If this happened to me, I'd tell them to inhale it, and if it's my stash, until they inhale the smoker, they won't get anymore of mine. May sound harsh, but no inhaling it, shit, I might as well flush it down the toilet.

Luckily I never run into people like this anymore.

i just smoke it. If i hold it in good, if not what ever. just as long as it passes the 2 criterea for smoking weed 1. the device smokes. 2. gets me high. Thats it!

What pisses me off is when i smoke with a complainer. "thats ALL the tree you got? thats not gonna get ME high! i need more BECAUSE OF MY TOLERENCE" or they say "we smoked that whole bag, and i'm not high" meanwhile i'm baked as hell. i have 2 freinds that i refuse to smoke up because they keep complaining about weed thats not theirs, and NEVER put in.
