The school said after he had to follow up with a doctor and get another urin screen and checkup. If he fails the urin screen he can't return until he passes or something like that..he's only been clean for 14 days though, BUT his levels have dropped incredibly (He was originally at 850 now t after getting tested today, they're at 200). He says LEGALLY if his levels are higher then 400 he can be suspended but if not he can NOT be held out of school. His mom says they're going to bring a lawyer with them for his next IEP meeting on monday to fight in his defence basically saying, you can suspend him but you can't expell him and that they want him back in school. BUT because he didn't complete the rehab will the lawyer even work?

advice, comments, ect, welcomed.

Look at your County/State BOE Ordinances. Schools are drug free zone areas, and in most cases they can keep any student with drug issues off their campus, the exception are the alternative schools for troubled kids, its why they are there.

Also you have to look at the papers you signed when you first signed up for said school, most people dont even read the entire document.
