So my little brother (now 15) got kicked out of school for many failed urin screens. This was probably about 2 or 3 months ago. Our school told him he had to complete a 30 day rehab program to come back to school. He completed exactly 2 weeks until he got kicked out for fighting. The school said after he had to follow up with a doctor and get another urin screen and checkup. If he fails the urin screen he can't return until he passes or something like that..he's only been clean for 14 days though, BUT his levels have dropped incredibly (He was originally at 850 now t after getting tested today, they're at 200). He says LEGALLY if his levels are higher then 400 he can be suspended but if not he can NOT be held out of school. His mom says they're going to bring a lawyer with them for his next IEP meeting on monday to fight in his defence basically saying, you can suspend him but you can't expell him and that they want him back in school. BUT because he didn't complete the rehab will the lawyer even work?
