ill at work on the nightshift

ok the last week ive had a bad bad flu kinda illness bad nose, throat, shit loads of catarh my head it banging too (also had real bad diahrea sp?)

at the moment im workin on my own on the nightshift

but i feel really rreally bad right now

im dizzy, short of breathe and my body/muscles are aching i also got a pain in my neck..

i might go to doctors cos i feel as if im gonna faint, should i just lie down or should i go?

It certainly sounds a lot like the list of symptoms that happen when people have the good, old-fashioned flu (influenza). Definitely go to your doctor. I know you've already been sick for a while, and so it's likely already too late to try and take one of the antiviral drugs to shorten the duration. Can you take some time off till you get well? You're contagious, you see. And the flu can be deadly to older folks or people with other health issues.

i tried goin to my doc birdgirl but the soonest i can go in the 14th of march! what a joke!

ive also started coughin up black phlem and i've felt dizzy for the last 24hours

in the mean time before you see your doc, you could try taking nurofen plus, it has codeine in it which is good for minor pain. might help you, helps me with back pain.

dont forget to drink lots of water! I've only had the flu really bad once and I didnt drink enough and I had to go to the hostpital because of it. No need to make an already bad situation worse.
