New bong!

Well, after rigging up a sweet ghetto piece outta my busted glass pipe (I used a shortened pen tube, and retained the metal screw in tip as the mouth piece), I decided to construct a water filter to interface with it!

Well, I used this old Juicey Juice bottle (very large, maybe a gallon). I punched a hole in the side about 1.5" up and inserted a full-length pen tube. Sealed the joint between the bottle and tube with clay. Mouth piece is the top of the bottle, cap can be screwed on to seal in secondary hit...

The bong pipe to bowl mouth piece adapter is pretty slick. I used a spare snap backing plate that was in my coat pocket (when I bought it, I actually dug it outta my misc things tray). I clayed that in place on the end of the bong tube. This formed a smoothly filleted hole for the pen-tip mouth piece of my pipe to be inserted into.

Thats it! Smokes great, but its a little loud for use when the folks are home (20 living at home sucks ).

It is a loss, thats for sure... but on the bright side, it has given me two projects already (the ghetto-ized repair and the bong)!

A couple years ago I watched a JBD Mothership get knocked off a table onto an upright pint glass. The pint glass broke, the bong was fine, although the inner stem for the percolator broke, so they had to get another one, but still....

I haven't seen that guy in a long time, god that was a nice bong. It's sad that Jerome Baker Designs is no more, they really made wonderfol "incense holders" (seriously, it was on the box).

haha, this thing is sweet... Got some nicely ground up dankage I'm burning. Thing is, there was some juice residue left in the bottle, so the water dissolved that. Now all the hits taste like like its mixed with flavored tobacco!
