hey all, i know this has probably been brought up numerous times by high school students visiting humboldt state, but i, like them, will be visiting there for a few days over spring break.

now, i know it's an awesome place to score some great bud (probably the best in the us). and i hear that (i have a friend who lives just near hsu, but doesn't smoke, isn't that crazy!?) arcata is real chill, potheads everywhere. humboldt state u has a forest where everyone goes and even that you can smoke in the plaza, which seems sketchy as hell to me, but if its true, that's killer.

bottom line though, since i'm not around high quality goods very often, i want to make a pretty hefty purchase. but i'm worried about walking in there blindfolded, like most people probably do, and trying to buy a big bag and getting ripped off.
what are some standard prices for 1/2 oz - full oz. of humboldt county goods? also, are there specific strains i should look for? specific to the growers in the area?

i'm not too worried about finding someone, it seems like one out of every two people smoke, and one out of every four grow, haha, so i'm not asking for hookups, but just curious as to some standard prices. i don't want to blow my past few months saving on something just because i have 'tourist' written all over my face.

The most an O is would be like $280, and that's for the most amazing bud like grandaddy purps etc.

expect to pay around $240 an O for some dank nugg. Probablly like $130-$140 for a half Oz. of really good headies.

lots of strains, but up there people are definately stoners. Most true stoners dont even pay attention to strains, unless it's some really exotic bud.

yah i get O's up there for 230-250 and thats that kill shit humboldts so dope my sister went there but she quickly started getting involved in other drugs which is very easy up there

but yah if u happen to have the time get baked and go to either Dons Donuts or APD(Arcata Pizza and Deli) '
