question about stinky's cloning method..

first i dont have rapid rooter plugs and the hydro store is soo far away from here so i was wondering if i can just use reg rockwool or grow plugs?. if so what do i soak them in before i put the clone in.....

I have not had good luck with rockwool personally, but some people swear by it, I believe it DOES have to be soaked first, someone else should answer.

my other question is could anyone explain to me in a better way exactly where to cut...

Sure, this pic is HORRIBLE but it is supposed to show a slip with a growing tip, and a couple nodes down the stem. You can make your cuts another node longer than the one in the pic... but this is what I consider to be sort of a minimum. It also shows a SEXUALLY MATURE plant with alternating nodes.
The cute you will make are
1- Removal of this fan leaf and any secondary growth at the node. Do this cleanly with a CLEAN razor blade.
2- A diagonal cut about a half to 3/4 inch further down the stem... put the slip into the clonex IMMEDIATELY after making this final cut.
