Is the White Widow that great of a strain?

...if I was going to grow outside....no matter where it was...I would use big pots......but that's just me...
Big pots are definitely the way to go.
    Why ?

I've been an outdoor grower foever and always made a 2/3 to 3 feet hole putting pure sheep crap in the bottom and filling the rest of the hole with Pro Mix. I use the HEAVY HARVEST food from Advanced Nutrience for the entire summer and add some bud blood, big bud and overdrive from august to end of october (depending on strain) and always get great results !

If growing in pots will give me bigger yield and an higher quality harvest, PLEASE SHARE THE WISDOM ! Would't growing in pot be more work as you would have to water them yourself all the time ?

    Thanks for your help.
9KtuFK Reviewed by 9KtuFK on . Is the White Widow that great of a strain? It seems everywhere I look, people are growing white widow and the seeds bank are really marketing this strain as one of the top plant in the world â?¦ (If not the best plant to grow). Iâ??m having problems right now with my indoor growing area so I will probably have to do it outdoor (let's hope not) but was still wondering if it was really such an amazing strain? Does it perform as good outdoor as indoor? 9KtuFK Rating: 5

Yes...WW is bloody lovely, and a favourite of many growers.
Strong, tasty, easy to grow and with a relativly quick flower period,
its definatly a good one to start with.

Though do be careful with the nutrients as WW is kinda sensative to over fert. I would reccomend using 1/2 - 3/4 strength feed with this strain , never full feeds.

Ive never grown it outdoors however, only indoor , so i cant comment on how it will perform outside.

i useually tie a few down and make some bushy mix it up a bit.

Those are some nice plants! How much do you get off of each of them? 3-4oz or so?

I have never had white widdow but white rhino was so powerful that I thought my head was a steam engine and I kept dipping my head in some water so it wouldn't overheat lol, I smoked so much of that stuff.

no way man a lot more then that, i get anywhere from 1/2 pound to 3/4 per plant, the best i have grown i got 2.5 pounds from one plant but that was much bigger. The tyed down one in the pic is about 8ft tall if untie it and the other around 7ft but very bushy tipped it a lot .

Wow... I thought they were only like a meter tall. Do they last all year and bud every year?

July i start them under lights for about 2 months then then around September i put them out side, they usually have really nice growth by then, around early febuary they start to budd, so they get around 6 to 7 months of veg cycle.

2 months of that veg cycle is under lights the rest out doors in pots i do this just to give them a kick start before the season starts,
That would be the Southern Hemisphere i live in.
Yes feb/march is budding time here at the moment are only a few weeks away from finishing up, summer just finished , days are getting shorter yadda yadda
