Does it actually work to just open a canister of co2 from a bb gun and spray it on the plants twice a day?

if done at the right times and amount id say yes! you can use 2 much co2 though! the plant cant take it in. there’s a certain mix of parts per million that is ideal for the plants!

If CO2 is heavier than air, how is it in our atmosphere? Just wondering. The Baking soda bowl and vinager made me wonder that.

Air (nominally 80% nitrogen, 20% oxygen) and Carbon Dioxide are completely miscible in all proportions. Although it's heavier than air (air has an average molecular weight of 28.8 vs carbon dioxide's molecular weight of 44 -- so it still dissolves in air and can be dispersed throughout the atmosphere of the world

ya,i know....but hear me out....get a 1 gallon plastic container,put enough co2 ice,and water in to start a reaction,cap it...have a small diameter hose ,run it to collection chamber,(preferably above your lights(to warm gas)or you can just let it sit til warm(rm temp)...i've done this with zip lock bags(makes a pillow bag)and squeezed the results over the plants...i know ,sounds stupid,i have no idea how much c02 these plants need:wtf:...i guess any they get, is better than none...maybe ,i'll have Mrs desertdweller sit in front of them and yak away for an hour a day

I am new to indoor grow but I have a ? suggestion- isn't dry ice formed from c02 if so how about putting a block in your passive air intake- or is it too heavy to be drawn ito room by extractor fan?
