my rant on commonly used phrases
Ok I use a few words in there so I just have to say I hope you really don't seriously have an issue with those phrases or what ever. If you're raised in the South you're probably gonna have a souther accent. If you live in Asia you're more than likely going to be speaking what ever language they speak. So if I'm raised up on the phrases and way of speech that I use I don't feel I should change how I am just to please who ever has a problem with it.

my rant on commonly used phrases
Some people used "bummer" as short for a bad trip (on something that's not supposed to be mentioned here), "Hey man, it started out good but after a few hours it was a bummer". The word morphed into other usages.
bum·mer (bmr)
n.
1. Slang An adverse reaction to a hallucinogenic drug.
2. Slang One that depresses, frustrates, or disappoints: Getting stranded at the airport was a real bummer.
3.

b. A beggar

Theres 2 kinds of language for meh..Familiar (spoken) and written (except on the computer, even though I try to put some more effort in my english on the boards to make it easier to read, and I think those words dont change anything)
By the way, english is all about laziness(sp?) in the first place imo. I mean, its the only language I know where you can use contractions such as ''don't'' and ''it's'' when writing.

my rant on commonly used phrases
I don't care what people say, providing I can understand them. Really poor spelling irritates me more than slang. Sometimes I will deliberately use slang or dialect to get my point across, or to make my point funnier. Dig?
