Apparently they've taken the short and norrow And are sobor as a judge. They had a long chat with me about how they cared about me and shit and that they want no part in my drug actives, Both are former pot smokers. They say i'm a risk because I always have dope or I'm always drunk. They are the types that can smoke the plant and than not get caught up into...

Long story sort they said pick are friendship or the drugs, These are my two best buddies from grade school. They both reached a age where they lost interset in getting high and drunk. Saying they have a funner time doing stuff sobor.

Both smoke cigs though, And send lots of money at strip clubs.

Has anyone done this too you before?

All my friends I went to junior high with and became really good friends with all stopped calling me when I decided to quit drinking. It was kind of sad to find out the only thing holding together a friendship was partying, so I said fuck them. Plus whenever I'd call them, they'd either have to drink at someones place, or drink when we went out.

Friends come and friends go. There are a million more people out there to meet. Just remeber you'll be the one tokin reefer when you're 60 while they're dying of lung cancer, now who is really stupid here. Certainly not you.

Lol they smoke cigs but they don't want to hang out with you because you get high and drink? Well I can understand the drinking part. I don't hang out with people who drink period. But being high from weed...I mean I don't see how they could do that lol. Please understand me..I just don't like the way most drunk people act, especially when they are drunk as hell. Trust me I have enough hard drinkers in my family, and at every family reunion or family cook I have to deal with them.. Even my wanna-be drug free dad used to and tries to hide it and make excuses for it. But yeah that's why I can understand the drinkin part lol.

When you're not a drinker you really see how pathetic drunk people act hey orangeman? That's how I see it now. Last time I went to a bar some drunkass spilled his beer all over me. I was annoyed, but if I was still a drinker, I wouldn't care and would probably do a shot with them.

Drunk people are annoying! They spit, slur their words, one eye is bigger than the other, they piss themselves, they stumble, and get violent. Blah!

Well the sad fact is for many people smoking weed is just a phase in their lives.

However if they cant accept you for who you are they are not worth having as friends.

You see that's not really true, a friendship is based on liking someone and having common interests. From what the OP has stated his friends have been around him in his sober days and drunken/high days. They obviously met him in his sober days and that's where the friendship started where they had a lot in common. But now he is constantly drunk and high (so his friends say) he isn't the same guy anymore. That's why they gave him the option, cos' they do care and want him back. If I were the OP I'd tell them I won't smoke as much and not when we go out to do stuff.

I've lost friends in the past with my weed smoking, it's your lifestyle choice and not theirs. Don't let them pressure you into anything, make the descision for yourself - if pot smoking is the way you wanna go, drop the friends that wont accept you as a friend for who you are.

I also wouldn't call stopping smoking weed "coming clean", especially when theyre smoking cigs lol
