Im not really sure why people are all posting that MG soil is not good for plant growth? Let me ask you all something - Have you ever tried it yourself? I did a search as someone said, and I read all the negative stuff about it and here is what I say about that - Its all complete and total B.S. !

It may be true that the included ferts in MG dirt are bad for the environment, but so are all other chemical type ferts. As far as plant growth results go, I have tried this MG soil several times on several different types of plants. Not only did they grow well but they grew faster, bigger, stonger and greener than just about any other mix I have tried. It's a bit high on N right out of the bag and holds a bit too much water. Lighten it up with some perlite like I suggested and it works great. The fact that you can go 4-6 weeks without adding any more ferts makes it fool proof for a beginner. Adding a small amount of epsom does not hurt either.

BTW - I do not just post suggestions here based on what I have heard or what I have read or just recycle what I found when I did a search on it. My suggestions here are based only on my own personal experience. They may not always be 100% correct, but my intentions are always true. I still stand by what I say about the MG soil for beginners, because my personal experiece has been not only good but great. I question the motives of anybody who posts all those pages and pages of negative info about this or any other product too.

Good luck to ALL growers,

bob
