Sup, so a few buds and I were were on lunch for school at Chipotle and I was low on cash and they didn't feel like loaning me money, so i went back to my car and smoked like a half bowl real quick in this parking lot near Chipotle. Not the smartest idea, but I was having a bad day and I tried to be as discreet as possible. I got out after a couple minutes, went and got a couple things off the dollar menu at McDonalds, then met up with my friends in Chipotle. We start heading back to school and I see the flashing lights in the mirror...

Fuck.

So at first I'm desperately hoping its a routine traffic stop. It isn't. The thing that sucks, is that my friends didn't know I had just smoked, so they weren't freaking. I'm pretty cool now as well, my high is killed. They tell us to get out and unfortunately, I have an airsoft gun in my door from the last weekend when were dicking around. The cops flip and back up and tell us to put our hands up. They take the gun and shit and confiscate it. They tell us that 2 people had called 911 saying that someone in a car matching mine "had drugs on their lap." I deny it, and don't let them search the car. They play the scare tactics for 20 minutes or so, claiming they can search it if they really want to. At this point another cop has shown up for pretty much no reason, he sat there and made stupid ass jokes.

They say a drug dog is on the way. The third squad car with a drug dog shows up. I still wont let them search. The dog guy gets the dog all riled up running around in circles, etc. Then walks up next to my car and points at a couple places on the car which the dog proceeds to sniff vaguely. He walks over and says "the reaction of the dog has given enough reasonable cause to search the car." In my car I had a small guitar pedal box with a pipe and about a quarter of weed. They find it pretty quick and handcuff me and my friends. After 30 minutes or so of bullshit individual questioning, they believe me and let my innocent friends walk back to school... I, however, am taken to Juvenile Intake Assessment Center.

I check out a couple of hours later after getting fingerprinted and mugshotted. I'm yet to get my court date for diversion in the mail, and I have to go to 12 weeks of rehab counselling and then up to 6 months of 'continued care.' Luckily, it's out-patient, but it's got UAs and all the bullshit that comes with it. It's 3 nights a week, from 6 to 9, eliminating 9 hours a week. BULLSHIT.

I hate this. All because I smoked a little weed?!

Moral of the story: if you can help it, don't smoke in your car in a parking lot in the middle of the day; 2 assholes might call you in.

dude, i'm real sorry to hear that. that's so retarded that two people who you don't know and weren't harming in any way decided their time was best spent ratting someone out. that's bullshit.
but on the upside, at least you were smart and didn't consent to a search. and like oyu said, at least you learned a lesson.

And all I gotta say is pay your shit on time, pass your first drug test. And you should be set off early. They love when you give your money up. The second my Prob. officer found out I paid all my shit my probation meetings ended, no more drug tests. No more anything I just have to wait a couple months and im set.

Edit: Sorry more drunk talk... but what I like about you is you learned somthin, you stayed calm and did what you hada do. And you werent some dumbass little kid who posted this random BullShit "I smoked 3 blizzunts, told the cop to fuck himself, tried to run, the cops beat me, this is horseshit not my fault, blah blah" they are the reason why Weed isnt gona get legalized any faster.

The same exact thing happened to a guy that I work with, airsoft and all. and all they did was called his dad. hes 19, they saw him holding the bb, a bong in the back seat, and a few grams in the ashtray. I don't get the justice, I don't know what state you are in, but he was stopped in Santa Monica California. I know if it was me in that car holding the airsoft I would of got my ass shot. Cops are really bias in my area, and being a American Mexican I did not want to have to do it, but I'm pulling the RACE CARD.


Cop suck in my area, there's this new documentry on Crips & Bloods called "Bastards of the party", they show how Fuked our police department really is. . .

That sucks... i can't belive you got called in... and twice? thats mad weird... me and my friends smoke in the car all the time... one time a friend and i smoked a blunt in the drive thru line in Wendy's... we were litterally hitting the shit at the window and all the people around us just laughed and cracked jokes!

And another time me and my GF were smoking on the highway and we missed our exit but we enjoyed driving so we kept on going, and a state cop pulled up behind us, we got a little scared cause we wer carrying A LOT on us at the time but then he just got annoyed that we were driving 45MPH (minimum speed on the highway) so he just passed us.

Has anyone else heard if they say there getting a dog to search your car, at that point you can legally leave before it comes. I watched that "Know your rights" video someone posted a while back.

I hate hearing so many stories about people getting arrested, especially kids, it puts a crutch on you for getting a job with that on your record, your family all look down upon you in shame and think you have some huge problem, you have to pay court fees and waste countless time in rehab or doing other services, it's horrible. I feel for you man, good luck.
