So at first I'm desperately hoping its a routine traffic stop. It isn't. The thing that sucks, is that my friends didn't know I had just smoked, so they weren't freaking. I'm pretty cool now as well, my high is killed. They tell us to get out and unfortunately, I have an airsoft gun in my door from the last weekend when were dicking around. The cops flip and back up and tell us to put our hands up. They take the gun and shit and confiscate it. They tell us that 2 people had called 911 saying that someone in a car matching mine "had drugs on their lap." I deny it, and don't let them search the car. They play the scare tactics for 20 minutes or so, claiming they can search it if they really want to. At this point another cop has shown up for pretty much no reason, he sat there and made stupid ass jokes.

They say a drug dog is on the way. The third squad car with a drug dog shows up. I still wont let them search. The dog guy gets the dog all riled up running around in circles, etc. Then walks up next to my car and points at a couple places on the car which the dog proceeds to sniff vaguely. He walks over and says "the reaction of the dog has given enough reasonable cause to search the car." In my car I had a small guitar pedal box with a pipe and about a quarter of weed. They find it pretty quick and handcuff me and my friends. After 30 minutes or so of bullshit individual questioning, they believe me and let my innocent friends walk back to school... I, however, am taken to Juvenile Intake Assessment Center.

I check out a couple of hours later after getting fingerprinted and mugshotted. I'm yet to get my court date for diversion in the mail, and I have to go to 12 weeks of rehab counselling and then up to 6 months of 'continued care.' Luckily, it's out-patient, but it's got UAs and all the bullshit that comes with it. It's 3 nights a week, from 6 to 9, eliminating 9 hours a week. BULLSHIT.

I hate this. All because I smoked a little weed?!

Moral of the story: if you can help it, don't smoke in your car in a parking lot in the middle of the day; 2 assholes might call you in.


Not sure where you live but if you would have told him what you had in the car then he would have been less of a dick. Just a thought. Police love honesty you don't waste their time or feel like you're a threat.
