That's what I pleaded down to.

The original charge was "possession of marijuana." At the court, after talking to my lawyer and him talking to the prosecuting attorney, the plea bargain was that I plead down to "use of marijuana." It's not as stiff of a penalty.

Thanks a lot, dad, but I did mention that I learned my lesson and that it was a dumb idea and I'm posting this more as an example of what not to do, in order to help others.

And to those who were wondering, the dog reacted like any other dog ive ever seen in my life. He smelled the car where the cop pointed, and didn't appear to show much interest in it, even started walking away until the cop pushed him closer to the car and got him riled up. It would be like if i stood next to a car with my dog and started petting him roughly and getting him excited, then forcing him next to the car. As far as I could tell, he didn't detect anything from outside the car.

But, the fact of the matter is, if 2 people called in, thats enough reasonable cause for a search, period, and they would have held me until they got a search warrant. And i know for a face that 2 people called in because when i was in the back of the squad car while my friends were getting interrogated, the computer in the car showed 2 specific 911 reports with details and everything, including the names. I was so mad, I didn't remember them haha.

The law sucks, but it's the law.
