What he said. Scrape all the kief off the stems. If you have a lot youll have your self a nice hit or two of kief. Its so much better then smoking the whole stem.

Back when I bought, I would smoke stems. But now that I have experience with a living MJ plant, and understanding that weed is exactly that: a weed.

When you think 'stem', you think woody/twig. Well a fresh MJ plant kind of is, well, weedy like milkweed. Just something I think about. I smoke *all* of well manicured bud, though.
