bodylock and no bodylock same bag
I posted this question on another thread but I'm going to post it here because I didnt get a response. Last week I bought 1/8 and smoked the bag the first time and got bodylock then i smoked the rest of the weed from the same bag another day and didnt get bodylock even though it was from the same bag. I was told it was two different buds but I mixed them all together and distributed it evenly so I don't think that was why. Anyone know the reason for this?

Stuff like that has happened to me. For me though it seems almost the atmosphere that I'm in depicts if i'll get bodylock or not. Idk if that makes sense, but to me it does.

ya that's what i was thinking because the first time I was really tired and by myself and the second time I was with friends and I was in a forest (kinda) and it was much more relaxing. So that's what I think it is too.

My personal theory is that yes, the strain affects the high, but so does your physical status going into a session.
So, let's say you're hungry or tired or whatever ahead of time, then you smoke. Smoking makes your sense of time and your perceptions of your needs more intensified, so you might end up meeting needs you would normally ignore, such as hunger, fatigue, etc. I find that it "reveals" my personal needs to me and makes me prioritize them over other things.
So sometimes I end up cleaning my house, painting a picture, reading a book, etc but if I'm tired I just want to sleep.

Different evironment create a different buzz. By the sounds of it, the buds were a sativa/indica mix. In those cases, I find if you're doing something energetic, you will feel energy, but if you're calm and relaxed, you will feel the body high.
Sometimes with the same weed, I'll smoke some and be pumped on playing some guitar, but other times, I just feel like sitting on the couch watching TV, so yeah.

Yea, non-drug factors can affect the high. Also, your resistance was probably higher the following times you smoked.

My diagnosis, a combination of tolerance and energy levels.
