Yeah, I bought some lights (3 of them) from inside sun.
Use the search function on the forums... there's a lot of info on the company..
I was broke as hell back then and I won't buy from them again.

-Cords are not removeable, very difficult to set up your ballast and lights in separate rooms as many experienced growers prefer to do
-the 'econo' reconditioned ballasts... meh... mine looks like it came from a fire and runs so hot that you can't touch it for very long
-actual ballast-to-bulb cord is NOT grounded ( I did a dissection, lol, and was a little worried at that).

But they work. And they are cheap. I don't regret buying from inside sun, it's a good site for us broke-ass mofos.

Well yeah I am a broke ass mofo right now so I think I might pick up a light from them lol. I hope I don't regret it, I'll replace it later but right now I'm in a hurry to get started . The reflectors look like shit though.

I've been planning a grow every since I knew I was going to like Cannabis as much as I do today lol. And Stinky yeah I guess it is ok..it's my only option at this point . I still have a lot of money to get together so it might be a while but I know for a fact it's going to happen no later than June. It just sucks though because I want to grow now, I want weed for the summer lol.

Thanks Stinky, I'm gonna need it lol. The only thing though is I really need something that can get rid of odor without having to duct the air to another place in the house. I can't do any of that right now. I saw a thread that I liked in the grow faq's but I don't think I'll be able to find all the stuff to stop the odor. Can some one help?

Hey Orangeman,
Markass just got 2 of the 250w. hps from Insidesun . The only Downfall i see is what Stinky already pointed out w/ the cords being hardwired to ballast . That can be chgd. for cheap $6.00 in pts. at homedepot to chop cord -n- add a male / female cord end near the ballast . BLK - WHT- GRN it's easy .

I saw your other thread -n- you were lookin at a self contained 250w hps. hydrofarm econo maybe ? I have 1 in a 6ft x 2ft x 1.5ft. c-13 cabinet and it does a good job . But for a decent size space its useless w/ bulb way up inside the hood . Also your always stuck w/ the heat of your ballast inside closet / cabinet cause it's up inside the hood . I'll post a cabinet pic. w/ it in it later .

As far as reflector you can always get a cooltube or dif. hood later dwn the road . A cheap cooltube is only like 69.00 now if you dont like the batwing .

If moneys tight it might be easier to research and choose a low odor strain and try to mask the smell verses filter it ? A good fan / carbonfilter combo is expensive .

You shouldn't have many probs. man . You've been doing your homework . You been popin up in dif. grow foroums latley peepin -n- plannin .
You too will soon be free of Doo Doo weed , asshole dealrs and be self sufficiant .
