The 1 oz. Shot Glass Grow Competition.
yes, that's right. we will be growing a plant in a 1 oz. shot glass. no flamers please. this is an experiment for fun only. chances of hermie are great, chances of male (if from bean) are high. we KNOW this; the poing is to see if the plant can survive in that small of a container.
weve all seen weeds growing up through cracks in the side walk, this is the same principle.
rules:
you must use a 1 oz shot glass
the shot glass must be clear, for honor system
you may veg for 5 days before going to 12-12
you must stay on a 12-12 schedule from the beginning
you may use just rooted clones or beansprouts only
that's it, pretty self explanatory... all are invited to this whacky challenge. so lets see those shots!
this one rooted a few days ago, i pulled it up and transplanted into a shot. i'll give it a day or two to get over the shock, then into the flower room she goes. strain is dreamgoddess.Scarlet Sky Reviewed by Scarlet Sky on . I've got to get a shot glass. Just for fun, I may do two. One bean, one clone, as soon as my clones root. Patience Grasshopper.

The 1 oz. Shot Glass Grow Competition.
hi mrs green! i too am going to do both. i need another shot glass though, i only have a double shot medicine bottle... i may use it and measure out the one ounce.... it's clear, so you can see the dirt line (to ensure that i'm not cheating
)... but i don't know; it kinda defeats the purpose of the whole shot glass thing..., hell, i'll just get another from the dollar store tomorrow...

Won't the light damage the roots through a clear glass? I would cover mine and just uncover it for pics. Oh is root pruning allowed? I like to start playing with that. Maybe I'll pick up a glass, maybe.

i would have to see if these clones take, otherwise I'll have to use a clone taken while in flower.

I took all my clones from flowering plants. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I would have taken them earlier, but I didn't have the stuff to keep them alive.
