Yeah it'll be awkward, but its already awkward isn't it? Always best to tell her. She might reject you, but if she is worth it she'll still be your friend afterwards and probably respect you more. All I can advise is don't shower her with gifts or try to pull a romantic stunt, just tell her. I reccomend picking a light hearted moment to drop a hint, women pick up on these things and you are more likely to get an honest response. She'll come to you if she wants to, or not.

I'm running on about a 10% chance of success her but hoping for a miracle. If it happens than I'll be the happiest man ever. If not I don't want it to be awkward but assume it will be.
