So lets say there is this guy who is new to growing, and he is just nearing his first harvest, good amount of bud from a good amount of plants, and it looks wonderful. Before this guy started growing, he told his lover AND best friend of many years that if she would let him grow, they would not sell any ( keep in mind this is major issue with her), and it would be for their personal use, with the exception of the occasional gift to friends and family.

Lets say this guy has a niece, who is getting into more and more trouble, he cares deeply for this girl and has replaced his brothers place in her life as a father figure due to all too common circumstances. This girl is poor, as is her mother (and the rest of her 4 other children, one who is newly physically handicapped) and has never had much of a 'good life'.

Lets say this guy is just now entering the stage in his life where he is moving and integrating into a middle class lifestyle at a relatively young age and owes it all to the earlier mentioned love and best friend.

What he has to lose

Good job, gov benefits for school, and the potential ethical issue of lying to lover.

What he has to gain

Moving his niece out of government housing, into a private school, and hopefully giving her, her first real chance at having anything in this world.

What would you do?

Offer to have her come stay with you and integrate her into your middle class lifestyle along with.
You aren't going to make enough $$$ with a personal sized op to pay for private school anyway.
And what if she ever found out that you had broken the law to help her? I think she would have a hard time dealing with that.
Your heart is in the right place.
Get her involved with like a softball league on the weekends or something that you can bith do together, that will be a positive experience and let you be a good role model. People are tough creatures. Great leaders, writers, artists, DO come out of poverty and bad home situations... but they need a mentor.
That can be you.
I have always believed that between time and money, what children need the most from you is your time.

Speaking from experience private school is not going to fix anything for anyone....that's called a "'geographic" and it only shifts the problem not fixes it.

Stinky is right...she will learn a hell of a lot more watching a grownup near her walk the walk rather than talk the talk than any amount of money you can throw at her.

If she looks up to you and really does love you like a father figure, then she should follow your examples. Spend more time with her I guess and show her the ropes to life, who knows she might follow.

If you get busted selling there wont be anyone to help your significant other or your niece. And if you break your promise, how will they be able to trust you again. Selling may seem like the easiest answer, esp since you have such good intentions, but when you have something to lose its not the best option.
