I'm usually fighting to keep humidity down .
Try a cpl. 5 gal. buckets of water just sitting in the room to evap. maybe an airstone in ea. one to help transpire some water into the air .

thanks mate.Humidity is a real problem for me.Grown for a number of years now,i had to rebuilld my room and i just cant get the humidity to rise. Will try your suggestion though.I bought a new fan i think it may be to strong have restricted it but it still sucks the life from my room.

It is odd that you have had that problem... I always aimed to keep my humidity UNDER 35%RH. It usually sat in the high 20s.
Are you sure that was your problem... how did you know?
Remember many of the places that cannabis grows naturally are quite arid...

Well i ainty really sure mate. It's just they seem to do well in my cupboard downstairs.then when i put 6hem in my grow room in the attic they seem to g backwards.the temp sits at 80 lights on.60 lights off. i have co2 and a carbon filter fan which i have restricted a bit because i felt it was just a bit to strong.i have grown really good crops in the past and the only thing i changed in my room was that fan,and the last two crops i lost.i put it down to humidity but i'm open to any suggestions mate.

Perhaps your hunch on the fan being too strong was correct? And lets see, 80 degrees plus CO2, your plants were probably transpiring quite rapidly, plus excess moisture being stripped by an overly strong fan... hm... I have never encountered this problem before so I can't tell you much. Maybe increasing the humidity WOULD help! How was water use? Hmmm, I wonder if an anti-transpirant such as wiltpruf or neem might help?
This is going to sound a bit shitty and time consuming, but if I had a grow that wasn't working, I'd go back to the setup I used for the last successful grow, and try fiddling with variables, adding things in one at a time... I'd also try getting your night temps up to at least 65, because you don't want to have a great difference between night and day.
I'm sorry I can't be more helpful... just a few things to think about...

thanks for trhe help mate.I had to take my last room down but i rebuilt it he same as i said only diffrence was the change from a a small shitty fan to a £150 one lol (dearest aint always the best haha).,As for water consumption well the last crop i lost well believe it or not i was giving them about a litre\and a 6 days later they were still heavy.all they did was get worse every day.So now i have started again and put my clones under a 400watt for 18hrs there about a foot tall.I'm just hoping they come good.

if himidity is really the problem, you could get a vaporizer, i remeber my sis had one for her asthma, fill it with a gal of water a day and it just evaporates the water. you could put it under the plants have it run on a schedualed timer so u dont get to moist, i was thinkin of doing this for my vegg plants but decided it wasnt to much of a problem, alot of my leaves are skinny but they do well.

5 gal buckets work too but, you want to expose as much surface area to the air. i usually use a large diameter dish
