weed and sports

i know lots of people who think that smoking weed will make you a terrible athlete, but thats just straight up not true. i'm a swimmer and i smoke all the time and im still one of the best in the state. i know plenty of other people like this. i just wanted to get your guys imput on actually how much smoking affects your ability to do physical activities.

yeah, i play soccer and alot of my friends are on the Varsity team at my school.
they don't seem to be having problems...

i play basketball and its not that bad. i can deal with it.

but i know a lot of great athletes at my school who smoke on a daily basis. and there freakin awesome.

haha thats how i feel about it. i dont understand how some kids are so against pot smoking yet they cant even touch me in the pool, even when swimming is their number 1 sport. i just think its funny.

good luck on lacrosse that shit is hard. us swimmers arent very coordinated so you wouldnt catch me tryin that.

i played goalie for rep a couple years back and i remember not having any problems palying and continueing smoking on a daily basis, the only thing i didn't enjoy is playing stoned, i found it difficult and annoying and just wanted to chill and do something more relaxing... we lost that game terribley, i didn't even finsh i got pulled

I go to hockey baked and absolutely own. i get a way better sense of where the play is going to go and im just having such a blast out there that i play that much better.

--forgot to mention i am one of the best if not the best according to some in my league and most people know i smoke weed and assume its slows me down but naww and ya sux i cant play right now got my finger skated over last game weed would of helped the 45 min drive to hospital then the 5 hour wait

haha weed is definitely a sport. not so much as drinking is a sport. (i love drinking too). you would think people would smarten up about weed when they see kids do better than them in sports while smoking all the time. when people on my team ask me how i got so fast in swimming i say, "i smoke weed."

Ill tell you whats best, getting stoned and going wakeboarding ohh the water is so good to feel it, either on a boat or a cable lake. Id say im much better when im high, just so relaxed
