Eminem definitely showed acting talent in 8 Mile, I don't care what anyone says...he even was praised by all the big time movie reviewers, and he's recently had a shitload of scripts to read, he's trying to pick the best one for him...but he's just a rapper with no talent, right Chowda lol. Then there's Ice Cube, but I consider him an actor rather a than musician anyway...same thing with Ice T. DMX has been in a good amount of movies, so obviously some talent there. And Tupac was a very well received actor at his time. And come on, Snoop's just the man, he can do whatever he wants.

Then, you can also say Will Smith and Mark Walhberg...and that definitely turned out for the better...two of the best actors ever right there. And after last night, you gotta add Jennifer Hudson.

So I guess....yeah it's unfair, but if the talent is there, it's there. And if not...you'll only get one shot for marketing purposes, and you can stick to your million dollar day job anyway lol.

If Eminem or 50 cent could act a part other than gangster then I'd give them some sort of credit for acting half decent. But if you act like a gangster within you music and you're sense of style and then act the exact same way in a movie, I don't think thats talent. I think talent is someone who has versatility wihtin their acting ablibites like Johnny Depp for example, then i'd say he or she is a good actor/actress
