well first lemme say, if you are considering flaming me, or even trying to debate my opinion on this, IT'S MY OPINION and second of all, you won't change my mind...resorting to saying 'my bands' suck wont' change it, telling me what a musical genuis said 'bad band' is, won't change my mind.. you can't change my mind because it is my opinion, and i will ignore any 'negative' posts after this, whether it be insulting bands i've said i liked, or calling me ignorant or the such for naming the bands i think blow (sorry, i get in this argument all over the boards without even trying... i tell someone something, that's rock solid hard truth and they try to get me back by saying [lol robert it's not about you, this argument has been used on me so much] "well how much can someone who thinks slipknot is a good band really know?!)

most metal band suck as well, few exceptions (i think alot of people here have some image in their head that i'm some hardcore metal nut lol... far from it.. alot of it is just ok, the rest sucks ass.... there are few exceptions to this, slipknot is one of my fav bands, dunno really why... COF is really good as well... but most fuckin blow... i can bang an instrument and sing while i got a cold and do just as well)

Neil Young definitely is THE man. Even though he is one of the most untalented singers, he is and amazing songwriter and deserves more credibility than he gets.

However this is the worst bands thread, so I would have to say, and I can't believe they haven't been mentioned yet, fucking Nickleback. They are in my opinion, by far the worst band of all time. One of the members has actually been quoted saying "If we could make money playing metal, then we would." That shows right there that it has nothing to do with the music. The drummer only knows ONE beat and all their songs have the exact same format. If you put them next to that Fallout shit or whatever, it makes those gayboys look like they actually have talent.

yea dude your right, i would say the worst band EVER would have to be nickelback. All of their songs are monotonous, they all suck, nobody is talented in that band, their songs are not catchy, and i cant stand their singer.
