The governemt are in the process of making everyone carry ID Cards.. these cards will be used to access up to 50 pieces of information about you, including a face/iris scan.. they wont be compulsory, but if you plan on working, buying stuff, using services such as hospitals, or basically doing anything, then you will have to have one.. fun, eh??

im totally fuckin against the idea, as i hope most of you will be.. but the sad thing is, alot of people (including my mum, who thinks theyre neccesary) will think theyre a good idea.. so, what do you guys say?

Unless I'm mistaken about some security measure, it sounds like a gain for the identity theives, wouldn't you say?

theres a resurgence in face to face branch banking here because the consumer wasnt into internet and phone banking.
there'll be like 4 buildings u cant enter without one, 10 companies u cant do buisness with and 6 cops with scanners capable of reading the info.
how are they gonna get all those iris scans in the system? next time u renew a lisence?

YEAH something else for a frustrated computer geek to hack into and steal people's money being all passive agressive like.......ok sorry for the sterotype but I don't want people stealing my identity. I hadn't heard about this but it sounds like a stupid idea. Like the government wants to track every move we make. Maybe aliens did take over...........mmmm?

The next thing will be a human chip implant such as they use for pets. This is currently available and already being used in some places. Just search for "human chip implant" and you'll find a LOT of info on it.

The thing is, if we are made to have implanted 'chips', what is to stop some crim standing beside you, to quitely scan you, then e-mail the info to his HQ - then, whilst the crim standing beside you, kinda stalls you up, the other crims (who have now got ALL your ID details) go and do yer house over?

Like they used to do with car alarms - they scan your code - download it onto a PDA - lol, they dont even have to follow you home...they could just run ahead, wait for you to put your key in, then BAM - knock you over yer head, and nick all your stuff - or rape you, or pretty much anything they like, really.

I tell you...I'm getting the fuck out of here as soon as I can.
I am pissed off with this fucking scaremongering that is used to sway our thinking - and the trouble is, the majority of the population are of the 'soap-opera, football mad, piss-head, drongos' who dont even know what they're doing, and they are the ones who will think it is a good idea!!!!!
